The Different Types of Ecosystems
There are many different types of ecosystems in a marine biome. There are oceans, the biggest of them all, coral reefs, which are only found in warmer parts of oceans, and estuaries.

Coral Reefs are considered to be some of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. There is an abundant amount of plant life, hard or soft, coral or anemone. Animals come in all different sizes and shades, making it the colorful place we always think it to be. Not only are they appealing to the eye, but they are very important to our country as well." The coral reefs, although fragile, provide protection against seashore erosion, abundant food sources, jobs based on tourism, and even medicines." - Ocean Portal. Because of their magnificent color, and abundant amount of life, they are very famous as tourist attractions. Coral Reefs really are "just a pretty face". One wrong swipe of a flipper that belongs to a tourist and thousands of years of work could be gone. These beautiful sanctuaries are disappearing, fast.
